Be a Volunteer
Your village store needs you! The only way it can work is if there are a good number of volunteers. It's a great place to meet everyone in the community and it is a very pleasant place to spend a couple of hours.
We will give you all the training you need and you can work alongside somebody else until you feel you've seen how it all works. Serving in the store or coffee shop is very easy as the tills and the coffee machine are very easy to use.
Some volunteers have regular shifts but others fill gaps of an hour or two if and when they are available.
We would particularly like to hear from anyone who can help in the Coffee Shop on Saturdays mornings. This could be every week, every other week or occasionally.
